My Two Cents on: Gravity Rush Remastered

Just finished Gravity Rush Remastered for PS4.

I like it. It doesn't waste your time, unlike some other games *cough* Xenoblade *cough*

It's nice that they kept the number of gameplay mechanics to a minimum and worked with what they had, though I felt that they could have explored the mechanics a little more. The challenges could have had more variety.

Combat can be kinda wonky, especially for someone like me who has trouble with 3D games, but it was quite forgiving. It's great that they added aim assist for moves like the Gravity Kick, although I missed moving targets quite often. If anything, I felt the game was on the easy side; I rarely had to redo fights, and even the rare monsters that earn you trophies didn't take more than a few tries.

You should play it:

  • just to see how they work within the set of mechanics they have
  • see how they work humour into the story and gameplay; some missions are hilarious
